Three Other Books from Loretta

I just realized that I hadn't made a blog entry about my last three books. Yes, three. Such is retirement life - lots of time to do the things we love. And I love writing.

Two of the books are collections of short stories. The third - More Than a Parting Gift - talks about retiring in the tropics. Here is a bit more information:

~~~~~
Moonbows and Shadow Benny
This is a collection of stories about things we don’t learn through formal education. Most of these stories are about fun things, such as pushing bush and mirror writing. There are some serious topics as well, such as sinking boats and immunization. None of the stories should be taken too seriously.
A Dog In the Freezer
This is another collection of stories about some of my misadventures in life, from falling asleep while driving to getting stung by a stingray. There are also two war-time stories about my parents.
More Than a Parting Gift - Early Retirement in the Tropics
This is a story about how we retired at the age of 52 and then sailed halfway around the world and are now living in a small apartment in Thailand in a seaside village. This is not a “how to” book, it is simply the story of why and how we said good-bye to so much potential income to lead an extraordinary and extremely satisfying lifestyle.
Why Pay?
When I first published these books, I offered them to friends and family for free. If you missed the promotions and are interested in getting them for free, let me know and I can put on another promotion. My goal is certainly not to make money on these - and I haven't - so I'd be more than happy to mark the price to $00 again.
Download an ereader
These are all ebooks, and they are not available in hard copy. But you can download a free ereader onto your device to be able to read them. There is one available on Amazon.
How to find our books:
All our books - mine and Darrel's - are available on Amazon. If you go to your Amazon account and search for cankata, you will find them all. Darrel is writing his second book and it should be available sometime this year.
P.S. If you do find the time to read any of them, I would really appreciate it if you could write a review. Other potential readers would find it extremely helpful.  Thanks!
